This site is now for educational
purposes. We no longer maintain a panel or do surveys. However, we are
pleased to redirect you to several other places that do. Check
the links in the right hand panel for opportunities to participate in
surveys. Some pay incentives and others are for public service. We have
no connection with any of these locations and merely make you aware of
some that look to be of high quality.

We had originally started out to provide low cost online
surveys to small businesses and organizations, but circumstances did
not evolve as we had hoped. Since we had assembled several examples and
other items that might be useful, we decided to keep SurveyGuy.Com
activated as an educational website.
Having worked with several market research professionals who
specialized in research design, especially focus groups, we noticed
that a pattern started to emerge. Major companies would invest
resources in focus groups but be unwilling to do the statistical
follow-up needed to verify the hypotheses generated during the focus
group. The reason? Too much time or too expensive. We thought that it
seemed a folly to continually rely on focus group findings, which have
their strengths, but are limited in that one cannot say with any degree
of precision, what percent of a target population goes along with those
findings.
It was then decided to start SurveyGuy in order to offer a
reasonably priced alternative to an expensive phone or mail order
study. Unfortunately, this has not been practical for reasons unrelated
to the concept. Thus we are in the process of converting this to a
Statistics and Survey Educational website.
IMPORTANT! Always consult with your statistical or research
professional prior to administering a survey. The most common error is
to ask questions that will not truly answer your research questions.
Whether you select us or some other professional, please do not just
hand over completed survey questionnaires for tabulation. You may spend
a lot of your research funds and get little in return.

We are in the process of converting SurveyGuy.Com into an
Educational website. We have left many of the areas that we previously
used for example intact, hoping that they could serve as examples for
you.
We shall have lots of links related to Surveys and Statistics
on the web as well as information to help educate those planning to do
a survey.
In the meantime look around and maybe you might find a few
surprises here and there.
